UKGC Suspends Online Gambling Operator’s Licence for Failing to Participate in GAMSTOP
UK Gambling Commission has suspended LEBOM Limited's licence. The company failed to participate in the country's gambling self-exclusion scheme. UKGC wants to review the company's operating permit. The suspension does not prevent the gambling company from allowing its customers to access their accounts and withdraw their potential winnings. Two years ago, the UK gambling regulatory body made it mandatory for all online gambling operators who target British customers.
UKGC has suspended the licence of an online gambling operator for not participating in the self-exclusion service, GAMSTOP. UKGC is determined to enforce stricter rules and sanction gambling companies that do not operate in line with the obligations they have under the existing legislative framework. The regulator has already imposed hefty fines on some of the biggest online betting and gaming operators in UK, including Entain, Betway, Smarkets, etc.
