The Four Winds South Bend is celebrating an expanded casino floor
The Four Winds South Bend casino has opened its expanded gaming floor! The casino celebrated the accomplishment with a ribbon-cutting this week. The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians is excited to offer more gaming space to patrons.
The casino is now over 98,000 square feet in size and offers 1,900 slots plus 27 table games. Players can access a new high-limit area and more banking options via an expanded cashier area.
Large-Scale Expansion of the Property
The new gaming floor is part of a bigger expansion within the entire casino property. The Four Winds South Bend will have a 23-story hotel tower with 317 hotel rooms and 83 guest suites. The hotel will also be home to a spa, convention space, and a meeting area. The full expansion should be completed by the first quarter of next year.
Tribal Chairwoman of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi, Rebecca Richards, commented on the change, stating it is hard to believe the first Four Winds Casino opened 15 years ago in New Buffalo, Michigan. The tribe now operates four casinos, and Richards credited the casino operations team and all team members of the casinos for the success.
New Gaming Options
Visitors to the casino will find the gaming floor offers plenty of options, from slots to table games. Players have access to 11 new titles in the table game section, including Lucky Lucky, High Card Flush, Blackjack, Roulette, and Heads Up Hold’em, among other games. Players can access the table games from 10 am through 3 am each day of the week.
For slot players, there are 850 new games in the casino. Several popular titles were added, including The Price is Right, Wheel of Fortune, and Jumanji. Players can also visit a new video poker section with more than 50 new games.
High rollers have a new space as well. Gamers of the casino can visit the High Limit Room and play 46 slot titles with bets ranging from $0.05 per spin to as much as $100. This space gives more variety to players and allows those with bigger budgets to place higher wagers per spin while enjoying slot games.
Four Winds Casinos chief operating officer Frank Freedman by stating: “Today’s unveiling of the newly expanded gaming floor at Four Winds South Bend will provide guests with a glimpse of what’s to come for the remaining build-out.”
“We are very excited for guests to experience our new slots and table games. We look forward to showing more of what Four Winds South Bend has to offer in the coming months.”
