The Battle of Casino Classics: Blackjack vs Roulette
Games of chance have been a popular pastime for thousands of years.
The Battle of Casino Classics is a competition between Blackjack and Roulette.
Blackjack originated in France in the 1700s. It was known as Vingt-et-Un, a direct translation of Twenty-One. In America, it was called Blackjack because of the bonus payouts. The game is fairly easy to play. Numbered cards are worth their face value, face cards worth 10, and Aces can be worth either one or 11.
The game of Roulette is played by placing bets on the numbers one to 36. The European wheel has a green single zero pocket, making the house edge 2.70%, and the American wheel having both a single and double zero pockets, which makes the edge 5.25%. The aim of the game is to correctly predict the outcome by betting on one of many bet types.
Both Blackjack and Roulette are popular games. The winner will be decided by the style of gameplay.
