Rio Hotel & Casino Las Vegas launches rewards program: Travel Weekly
Rio Rewards has four tiers: Rouge, Azul, Gold and Platinum. The program's benefits include hotel accommodations, show tickets, early check-in/late checkout, monthly dining credits and daily drink vouchers.
"The introduction of Rio Rewards marks an important milestone now that Dreamscape has officially taken over operations of the resort," said Kevin Sweet, the Rio's chief gaming officer.
Caesars Rewards cards will no longer be accepted at the resort. Existing Caesars Rewards members who have visited the Rio since late 2017 will be preassigned new Rio Rewards loyalty accounts and be able to pick up a new card at one of the Rio Rewards desks or at a loyalty kiosk in the casino.
The Rio is renovating 1,427 guestrooms and suites in the Ipanema Tower in a project that will be completed in the first quarter of 2024.
Dreamscape's multiyear redevelopment of the resort includes a full refresh of all 2,500 all-suite guestrooms; the 150,000-square-foot casino floor; the 220,000-square-foot meetings and conventions space; and five acres of luxury poolside amenities. Several first-to-market food and beverage concepts will also be introduced.
