October means Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and everyone is ready to step in and support the cause—and there’s one seaside venue that is offering an abundant amount of ways to help any way they can.

According to a release, Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City is participating in an event to raise awareness and money throughout October to support breast cancer awareness. Mark Sachais, Vice President of Hotel Operations will represent Resorts Casino Hotel in the Real Men Wear Pink Campaign— which means, every day in October, Sachais will wear pink to represent this important cause. Any one can help lend their support as well on top of sporting pink—donations can be made by visiting Mark’s Real Men Wear Pink fundraising page.

But that’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to everything Resorts Casino Hotel is offering throughout this month. One spirited way the Casino and Resort is promoting awareness is through cocktails. There will be multiple pink-themed drinks presented at different locations, with a portion going towards the American Cancer Society. On top of the drinks, there will also be donation boxes placed throughout the venue allowing guests to donate their slot credit vouchers or table chips, in support of the American Cancer Society.

Of course perhaps the brightest of all their incentives: To make the cause known around the city, the Resorts building will be lit up pink the entire month of October.

To pick up one of the pink cocktails being offered, guests can head to Bar One, DraftKings Sports Bar, BreadSticks Cafe, Capriccio, Cielo, and EastWind. All will offer a $10 Greyhound which includes Tito’s Vodka and pink grapefruit juice, garnished with a slice of grapefruit. As the release states, with every Greyhound that is purchased, $8 will be donated to the American Cancer Society. Wet Willies is also advocating in raising money for breast cancer as they will be selling a Pink Flamingo Frozen Daiquiri with every $1 purchased, to benefit the American Cancer Society.

According to its official site, the American Cancer Society’s main goal is to attack cancer from every angle. They promote healthy lifestyles to help people prevent cancer. They research cancer and its causes to find more answers and better treatments and they fight for lifesaving policy changes and provide everything from emotional support to the latest cancer information for those who have been touched by cancer. And they do it all 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In all, they’ve invested more than $5 billion in cancer research since 1946, all to find more – and better – treatments, uncover factors that may cause cancer, and improve cancer patients’ quality of life.

That’s also why the donation boxes are extremely necessary and a huge part in what Resorts wants to achieve. To make it easy for guests to donate, there will be multiple donation boxes placed throughout the casino and resort. Customers can donate their leftover slot credit vouchers or table chips to benefit The American Cancer Society. Donation boxes are located at the casino cage, self-park garage and boardwalk entrances. The Star Card members that donate at the Promotions Booth will receive a breast cancer awareness sticker placed onto their Star Card.

Real Men Wear Pink is also a facet of the American Cancer Society. This particular sector of the nonprofit believes when communities unite to fight breast cancer, great things happen. By tapping into the power of pink as they call it, Real Men Wear Pink has raised more than $40 million since its inception which fuels a live 24/7 helpline for answers and support, breakthrough breast research, and so much more.
