Yellow Social Interactive agreed to pay $1.32 million to resolve a class action lawsuit claiming it violated Kentucky laws by operating illegal gambling websites such as Pulsz.

The settlement benefits Kentucky residents who spent $5 or more within a 24-hour period on pulsz.com between Oct. 2, 2020, and Nov. 3, 2022, or pulszbingo.com between July 20, 2022, and Feb. 9, 2023.

According to the class action lawsuit, Pulsz gambling websites violated Kentucky law by selling in-game currency which players could use to gamble. Since this currency was purchased using real money, the plaintiffs argue that the in-game gambling was actually real, unsanctioned gambling.

Pulsz is a social casino game platform operated by Yellow Social Interactive.

Yellow Social Interactive hasn’t admitted any wrongdoing but agreed to a $1.32 million settlement to resolve the Pulsz gambling website class action lawsuit.

Under the terms of the settlement, class members can receive a cash payment based on the amount they spent on Pulsz in-game purchases. Class members who spent more on in-game purchases will receive a larger share of the net settlement fund. Although general payment estimates are available at this time, class members may be able to use their purchase information to find a payment estimate on the settlement website.

The deadline for exclusion and objection is Nov. 17, 2023.

The final approval hearing for the settlement is scheduled for Dec. 11, 2023.

In order to receive a settlement payment, class members must submit a valid claim form by Jan. 29, 2024.
