Star Entertainment Group has been spending a lot of money on developing and implementing cashless technologies in casinos and pubs. The company decided to include mandatory casheless gaming cards in various clubs and pub back in November. ClubsNSW and the Australian Hotels Association are not happy with the outcome. They threatened the actions of pro-reform MPs ahead of the state elections that have been planned for March 25th.

The top tax rates from July next year will be 60.67%. The changes will apply only to the state’s casinos. It won't apply to pubs and clubs. Treasurer Matt Kean proposed a tax increase last week.
