New Caesars Casino in Virginia Features WSOP-Branded Poker Room

Caesars Entertainment revealed renderings for its planned $500 million casino and hotel in Danville, Virginia. The hotel will contain 500 rooms, a pool, spa, and a fitness center. There will be a 25 table, WSOP-branded poker room. Construction is expected to start in December and be completed in 2023.
Virginia is on the cusp of a casino boom. People in five cities will vote in March 2019 on whether to build a new casino. Caesars has just opened a poker room at its new Virginia casino, which is called WSOP Poker Room.
Richmond voters will decide on the fate of the proposed ONE Casino and Resort project in November. The proposed $517 million casino would be built by Urban One, which bills itself as “the largest Black-owned TV network and distributor of digital urban content in the nation” Urban one is partnering with Peninsula Pacific Entertainment, who owns Colonial Downs racetrack.
Rivers Casino expects to open its $300 million, 50,000 square-foot casino in Portsmouth, Illinois, late next year or in early 2023. The casino will include a sportsbook, restaurants, entertainment space and 62,00 square feet of convention space.
The Pamunkey Indian Tribe and Jon Yarbrough are partnering to build a $500 million casino and hotel next to Harbor Park. Headwaters Resort and Casino will have 3,000 slot machines, 150 table games and a 300-room hotel featuring a rooftop pool. It's expected to open in 2023.
Hard Rock is planning a $400 million casino in Bristol, Virginia. It will have 750 hotel rooms, more than 2,700 slots, 100 table games, and a 3,200-seat Hard Rock Live venue.
