Nevada Casino: Accel Receives License to Operate for the Next Two Years

Acell Entertainment is eligible to apply for a two-year license in Nevada. The Illinois-based terminal operator and video slot machine supplier will be able to provide its slot machines and other entertainment devices to eating establishments, drinking establishments and truck stops.

Accel Entertainment's license to operate in Nevada is conditional on completing the purchase of Century Gaming Technologies. The transaction is expected to be finalized by the end of May. Accel expects to have between 23,000 and 25,00 slot machines and video gaming terminals by 2021. The video game terminals operated by Accell Entertainment in Illinois brought in $60.3 million in gross revenue for the month of June 2021, which is an increase over the previous year's total of 2,584 locations.

Accel has received a license to operate for the next two years.

Century Entertainment Corporation was punished for breaking an agreement with DraftKings. The board recommended a two-year license for Nevada. The private counsel for Century said that the firm would continue to enhance its compliance strategy. Nevada made $1.355 billion in gross gaming income from casino operations in March. It was the previous record for gross revenue from slot machines and other gambling terminals.
