Microgaming Mega Moolah jackpot scooped
Island software giant Microgaming is celebrating again after a player of one its games became an instant multi-millionaire.
The company’s Mega Moolah progressive jackpot slot was hit yet again at just over 6.6 million euros - that’s more than £5.7 million.
The winner, known only as ’CF’, was playing on his mobile phone when he won â?¬6,681,487 in an instant.
As with all wins on Microgaming’s progressive jackpot network, which has paid out over â?¬647 million to date, the winner will receive the prize as a lump sum.
The player, whose home location in the world has not been disclosed, was using the so called Zodiac casino run by Casino Rewards.
David Reynolds, games publisher at Microgaming, said: ’Mega Moolah has consistently made the headlines since launching over 10 years ago, and it seems set to continue that trend.

Mega Moolah has a history of breaking records.
It holds the Guinness World Records title for the ’Largest jackpot payout in an online slot machine game’ (October 2015), and last year it generated the largest ever mobile jackpot win (â?¬7,968,311.26).
