A lucky winner could receive an estimated $300 million from Tuesday's Mega Millions jackpot. The cash option for the jackpot is $206.7 million, according to the Mega Millions website.

The Mega Millions jackpot has not been won since a family in Arizona won a $108 million jackpot in October. The trio, which chose to remain anonymous, took home $75.2 million as part of the lump-sum cash option.

Meanwhile, the Powerball jackpot has reset to $38 million with a cash option of $26.4 million after two tickets won the $632.6 million jackpot last week, according to the Powerball website. The next drawing is on Wednesday night.

Mega Millions drawings are held each Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. EST. 

How to play Mega Millions

Players pick six numbers from two separate pools of numbers — five different numbers from 1 to 70 (the white balls) and one number from 1 to 25 (the gold Mega Ball) — or select Easy Pick/Quick Pick.

You win the jackpot by matching all six winning numbers in a drawing.
