Massachusetts has collected over $1 billion in taxes and assessments from its casino and slots parlor industry. February was a good month for the state, with Plainridge Park Casino, Encore Boston Harbor, and MGM Springfield pulling in $86 million in gross gaming revenue.

Massachusetts has crossed the $1 billion threshold from its gambling tax collection. Encore and MGM are taxed at 25%, while Plainridge Park is taxed 49%.   in the meantime, the state has benefited over the past decade from the gambling revenue.
