Mississauga’s Gwendolyn Hunter kept playing her numbers and won $129,514.40 in the Lotto 6-49 draw.
The 79-year-old retired mother of two and grandmother of two won on December 29.
“This is my first major win,” shared Gwendolyn while at the OLG Prize Centre to pick up her winnings.
“I’ve been playing for a long time.
“I couldn’t believe that I won. I went online to double check the winning numbers to make sure it was right!”
Her kids were the first to be told about the win.
“I sent them a screenshot of the win. This is an unbelievable feeling. I still can’t believe it,” she said.
Hunter plans to share with family, buy some furniture and go to Hawaii.
