They took the story of a hero versus a villain and mixed it with some beautiful Arabian scenery. And in this story, the hero doesn’t always win, which makes it even more of a unique slot.

Next is the hero of the story, the prince trying to keep the princess safe. The villain is next on the payout scale, followed by the sword.
The Scatter isn’t a hugely lucrative symbol but they pay without being on a traditional payline. They also lead to free spins. Three Scatters equal 10 free games, four award 20 free games, and five Scatters win 50 free spins.
During free spins, the blue and red potion bottles come into play, but they are not paying symbols. They simply provide places for the prince to move to, and when he does, that space changes to a Wild. If he moves to a blue bottle, it also awards an extra free spin. And the red bottle triggers another five free games.
The primary feature of Before Time Runs Out, though, is the Duel. This happens when the prince appears and one or more villains appear on a single spin. (The prince only appears on the first and/or fifth reels. The villain only on the second through fourth reels.)
The Duel begins when the prince moves space by space until it sits next to a villain on the grid. As he moves, he can turn up to three symbols into Wilds. The prince and villain begin their duel, and if the prince wins, another two symbols on the screen change to Wilds and the villain disappears. On the other hand, if the villain wins, the prince disappears.
Obviously, the player wins more if the prince wins.
When the Duel happens during free spins, any wins from the prince puts a gem on the hourglass. By collecting all six gems on the hourglass, the bonus round ends but the player wins a massive prize based on his or her bet. There is even one more feature in Before Time Runs Out! It is the Coin Respin. Coins are the lowest-paying symbols in the game.
