Las Vegas Strip Area Getting New 'Horror' Theme Park. Universal Orlando Resorts opened two Escape Rooms at CityWalk in December. Great Movie Escape features two themes, "Jurassic World" and "Back to the Future". Tickets are currently set at $49.99 and must be purchased separately from admission to Universal Studios theme park.
Warner Bros. Discovery will open Escape It, an escape room attraction based on the "It" and "The Chapter Two" movies off the Las Vegas Strip in 2022. Area 15 is a multi-experience arts and entertainment venue located just off Las Las Vegas Strip. It boasts 28 different venues, including a carnival midway, arcade, flight simulator, indoor golf simulators, duel-track rollerglider ride Haley's Comet and virtual reality experiences.
Area 15 is scheduled for a 20-acre expansion. New 110,000 square-feet horror experience is being developed by Universal Parks & Resorts. It will feature a variety of unique, immersive, fantastic horror-centric experiences. The attraction will showcase many of Universal's iconic horror characters. It has not set an opening date for the new horror venue.
