Bally's plans to redevelop Tropicana on the south-Strip are not likely to be realized until 2023. The team is considering two sites in the resort corridor for a new ballpark. Bally’s purchase of Tropicaana still needs approval by Nevada gaming regulators. The matter is not scheduled to come up on this month”s agenda. A's want to build a $1 billion waterfront ballpark in Oakland to replace the 57-year-old RingCentral Coliseum. They are also considering a 27-acre parcel behind Planet Hollywood and Paris Las Vegas.

Golden Entertainment is evaluating plans for the Colorado Belle Casino Hotel in Laughlin. The company owns two casinos in the area: Aquarius and Edgewater. Red Rock Resorts plans to demolish its three closed properties and sell the land. Boyd Gaming has no plans on reopening its Eastside Cannery. L.A. has more than 8,600 hotel rooms. L Vegas has 624,500 visitors through June. It was one of two markets in Nevada that didn't set a gaming revenue record in 2021. Caesars Entertainment owns Harrah’s Lighthouse and Tropicana Laughlin.

Joe Lupo is heading to Las Vegas to run The Mirage once Hard Rock Entertainment takes ownership of the Strip resort. Lupi worked in Southern Nevada for several Boyd Gaming properties, including the former Stardust. The Sapphire gentleman’s club is seeking Clark County approval for a dozen bar-top slot machines. Penn National Gaming is renaming the company Penn Entertainment. It is the result of its multifaceted operations, such as 44 casinos in 20 states, sports betting and online casino gaming.

MGM Resorts owns 50 percent of BetM MGM digital gaming operation. Last year it tried to buy the remaining 50% from its partner, European gaming operator Entain Plc, but the offer was rejected.
