Evolution Investor Sues Over Customers’ Alleged Illegal Gambling

An Evolution AB shareholder is suing the Swedish online gambling giant, alleging the company made false and misleading statements about its involvement with casinos that operated illegally in some markets.
The proposed class action, filed Tuesday, said Evolution customers have been targeted by regulators in places like Australia and Sweden for breaking those countries gambling laws, leading to losses for Evolution investors.
Evolution didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
