EuroMillions £110m UK jackpot prize claim received

A UK ticketholder has staked a claim to last Friday’s £110 million EuroMillions jackpot, Camelot said this morning.

One lucky UK ticketholder scooped the huge jackpot, and Camelot was urging people to check their tickets. On Friday, Camelot’s senior winners’ adviser at the National Lottery, Andy Carter, said: “What a fabulous night for one UK ticket-holder who has scooped tonight’s amazing £110M EuroMillions jackpot! Players are urged to check their tickets and to give us a call if they think they are tonight’s lucky winner.

“Thanks to National Lottery players, more than £30M is generated every week for good causes across the country. This supports everything from local projects making a difference where you live, to our nations’ athletes at the recent Commonwealth Games.”

The winning EuroMillions numbers from Friday’s draw were 07, 12, 13, 20 and 45 – plus the Lucky Star numbers 03 and 12. Only 15 UK players have ever won a jackpot of more than £100 million, with the record-holders winning £195 million in July.

Other winners of more than £100 million this year included the biggest National Lottery win of £195 million from the EuroMillions draw on 19 July and a £109 million jackpot from the draw on 4 February in which both winners remained anonymous. Gloucestershire couple, Joe and Jess Thwaite celebrated a £184 million win from the draw on 10 May, exactly a month before a UK ticket-holder, who also chose to remain anonymous, scooped £54 million in the draw on 10 June.
