The charity received $3.2 million in donations for the three months ending June 30, 2021. Biggest donation was $2.7 million from Entain, one of the largest global sports betting and gaming companies.
GambleAware received $3.2 million in donations from the gambling industry in Q1 2021. The charity asks licensed businesses profiting from gambling to donate a minimum of 0.1% of their annual Gross Gambling Yield. Businesses making less than $345,000 (£250,00) annually may donate $350.
Entain is the top donor for GambleAware in Q1 2021. Videoslots donated $69,000 (£50,00) and Broadway Gaming Limited $41,500 (£30, 000). Apricot Investments donated £30k and Virgin Bet Limited £16k. Intouch Games Ltd made three separate donations of $6,5k each.
