Dublin Daily Million punter wins life-changing €1m as players urged to check tickets

DAILY Million players across the capital are being urged to check their tickets carefully today after the top prize was scooped last night.
A lucky Dublin punter won €1milion in Thursday's 9pm Daily MIllion draw, Lotto bosses have revealed.
The winning numbers for Thursday’s 9pm draw were: 08, 13, 16, 27, 34, 38 and the bonus 22.
This marks the 10th National Lottery millionaire so far this year.
The winner has been urged to sign the back of their ticket and keep it in safe place.
They are advised to contact the National Lottery prize teams on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize.
A National Lottery spokesperson said: “A Daily Million player in Dublin will be celebrating this weekend after becoming Ireland’s newest National Lottery millionaire following Thursday’s 9pm draw.
"The Dublin winner has now officially taken the titles of second Daily Million top prize winner of 2022 as well as the tenth National Lottery millionaire of the year.
"We are encouraging all of our Daily Million players in Dublin to check their tickets carefully today as one lucky player has a ticket worth €1 million.
"The winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and to make contact with our prize claims team so that arrangements can be made for them to claim their life-changing prize.”
The Daily Million draws take place twice a day, seven days a week at 2pm and 9pm respectively and tickets cost €1 per play.
The Banner county player has officially taken the title of 17th EuroMillions jackpot winner ever seen in Ireland following last night’s life-changing win.
Before last Friday night’s win, the last EuroMillions jackpot won here was in July 2020 by an online player in Dublin who won a €49.5million jackpot.
The winning numbers in Friday February 11's EuroMillions draw were: 13, 18, 38, 42, 45 and lucky stars 07, 11.
The National Lottery are urging players in the Banner county to check their tickets very carefully today as one lucky player in Ireland now has a ticket worth €30,928,078.
