Internet gaming revenue from Detroit casinos reached $1.1 billion last year. Sports betting brought in $110.6 million compared to $ 1 billion for online slots and table games. Internet gaming has been a life raft for Detroit's budget. The city had to make $350 million in cuts to balance its budget during the COVID-19 pandemic.
