A SUMMER disco bingo celebration will bring a great time to Aberdeen.

Bongo's Bingo, returning to the P&J Live for the second time this year, will build on its sell-out success by mashing up traditional bingo, dance-offs and rave intervals.

Louise Stewart, head of entertainment, exhibitions and marketing at P&J Live said: “We are really pleased to see the return of Bongo’s Bingo to Aberdeen.

"There was significant demand for the event last time round, selling out in a matter of hours.

"Following the brilliant feedback from the last time round, we’d recommend early action if you want to make it along again.

"So, grab your bingo daubers and your A-game and buckle up for a bingo game like no other!”

The Saturday, July 23 event will bring the party to the Baker Hughes Conference and Exhibition Hub.

Since launching in Liverpool in 2015, Bongo’s Bingo has built a new niche with its rave bingo, with major cities hosting regular events thanks to its huge popularity.

A Bongo's Bingo spokesperson said: "The immersive and inclusive concept tries to re-shape how people across the UK choose to go out in a shared social experience like no other.

"For those yet to discover the vivacious Bongo’s Bingo, with shows taking place in almost 50 locations across the globe, the Liverpool-born company has become a party sensation since its humble conception in 2014.

"The award-winning night out combines the original and much-loved quaint past time with a mesmeric live show, packed full of plenty of bizarre and hilarious moments no-one experiences twice.

"Dance offs, rave rounds and weird and wonderful prizes – think giant pink fluffy unicorns to mobility scooters - are just a few of the key ingredients creating the winning formula for this magical night out.

"Bongo’s Bingo offers a night full of madness, mischief and shared euphoria, with dancing and cheering under one roof to hits from across the ages all night long – imagine N Trance’s Set You Free filtered via S Club and Gerry Cinnamon, to en- masse crowd karaoke renditions of Total Eclipse of "the Heart."

Tickets for the Bongo's Bingo at the P&J Live in Aberdeen will cost between £11 and £15.

The event will run from 6pm, with last entry at 7pm and bingo starting at 7.30pm.
