Task force was formed to prohibit online gambling and check online games. It was after the death of a minor boy while playing an online game that home minister Dr Narottam Mishra announced to come up with a draft to ban online gaming in Madhya Pradesh.
Task force formed to prohibit online gambling and check online games in Madhya Pradesh. It will examine legal, technical and other aspects before making recommendations to the government. Psychiatrist Dr Ruma Bhattacharya said that children and adults are getting addicted to online gaming. The home minister Dr Narottam Mishra had announced to come up with a draft to ban online game in the state. The task force will comprise additional chief secretary, home as chairman and members including Principal Secretary, Law and Legislative Affairs Department, Director, Public Prosecution, Additional Director General of Police, CID, and Managing Director of Madhyapar Electronics Development Corporation.
