Nevada Gaming Control Board has warned the state's gambling operators to be vigilant about cyber attacks. Last week, a huge cyberattack on US software company Kaseya potentially impacted up to 1,500 businesses worldwide.

The NGCB recommended John Robert Bollen, the chief information officer of The Cosmopolitan, to receive a key employee license. Bollen joined The cosmopolitan in June 2020. Cyber security is one of his top priorities. The company recently completed an information-technology upgrade.
