Bay Mills Resort and Casino Temporarily Closed Due to Electrical Fire

Bay Mills Resort and Casino in Chippewa County is temporarily closed after an electrical fire in the information technology room on Saturday.
The resort and casino said as a result of the fire, credit card, gaming, internet, phone, and ATM systems are non-operational.
They anticipate these systems will remain down for the next 3 to 5 days.
The resort and casino also said they are unable to operate their reservation system, and if someone has a reservation at the hotel through May 20, it has been canceled.
Bay Mart, Four Seasons, Northern Light are open and fully operational. Wild Bluff Golf Course will be open as well, but is accepting cash only until information technology systems are functional.
