August Massachusetts Casino Figures No. 2 Behind Record July

August's Massachusetts casino figures are No. 2 on the state's all-time list. The three commercial casinos in the Bay State recorded $762,758,615 in handle for August. Revenue was $92,385,101, 3.5% lower than July's record $95,737,508. August was only the second time since the roster expanded to three casinos that the casinos exceeded $750 million in handles and $90 million of revenue.
Encore led the state in handle for August at $376.2 million. In July, both Encore ($402.8 million) and MGM ($185.7 million), set monthly handle records at their facilities. Plainridge Park has a record of $194.6 million, which has stood since July 2017. EnCore was tops again in August with $57.86 million in revenue, followed by MGM with ($21.9 million and Plain Ridge Park with about $12. 7 million).
