Aruze: "We see the future of casino games incorporating more Activ-Play type elements"

In an exclusive interview with Yogonet held within the framework of the recent edition of G2E in Las Vegas, Arleth Godinez, Director of Sales for Latin America and the Caribbean at Aruze Gaming, expressed her enthusiasm regarding the positive outcome of her visit to the event, and highlighted the company's innovation in games featuring greater player interaction.
"Being back at G2E has been wonderful," the executive said and added that "the entire Aruze team has been looking forward to being back on the G2E floor. Last year felt like practice; it was quiet, and only a few people from each company came... but the crowds we saw this year were amazing. G2E 2022 is the real deal — we're ecstatic that we were able to present three new games and showcase some amazing other ones."
Regarding Aruze Gaming's offering to operators, Godinez commented: "We were so excited to showcase our Muso Triple-32 at G2E this year — it truly brought the fun and beauty to the floor."
"Our T-32 model features three, 32-inch LCD screens, transporting gamers and gamblers off the floor and into the world of whatever game they choose to play. The T-32's new face design, including the honeycomb/trapezoid LED lighting, and ergonomic button deck feature a standard wireless charger, an optional USB charging port, a wrist rest, and a 13.3-inch LCD deck." She further explained that the cabinet is "paired with Aruze's exclusive titles. The T-32 cabinet joins classic games and a one-of-a-kind gaming experience in perfect harmony. The T-32 is for everyone. As it was just introduced at G2E, we expect it will be a hit on casino floors in November in Puerto Rico."
Reviewing the award-winning Go Go Claw, the executive explained: "Go Go Claw is one of Aruze's greatest achievements and the winner of this year's Global Gaming Awards' Product Innovation award. While its function boils down to the same RNG technology as a traditional slot, players engage in the classic game of dragging and dropping a claw across a sea of prizes. It's classic arcade fun with a modern casino twist. We expect to see the first installment of our ActivPlay games in Latin America in late 2022, continuing strong demand throughout 2023."
"We see the future of casino gaming looking much more like an arcade. As the demographics of casino-goers change, we will see a shift from traditional slots and table games to more digital, hybrid, and interactive-style games. While there is always room for nostalgia on the casino floor, and it's unlikely that the traditional casino staples will ever disappear, there is also room for innovation," Godinez added.
"We introduced Activ-Play games to our suite of products beginning with Paradise Fishing in 2009. Now, we have a full suite of Activ-Play games, including two iterations of our award-winning Go Go Claw and our new interactive slot Rock Paper Scissors Instant Win. These games do not require any skill and are built on the same principles as a traditional video slot, but they require the player to do more than just hit a button," the executive explained.
Towards the end of this interview, Godinez noted that "this style of play draws in a different crowd to casinos as well as pleases slot lovers already on the floor. We see the future of casino gaming incorporating more Activ-Play elements."
"As technology advances, so does how we use it. iGaming for casinos at one point sounded ridiculous to some, but now it's in the mix. With the pandemic, many iGaming solutions were fast-tracked to bring casino comforts to regulated markets from the comfort of the players' couches. While our iGaming solution is currently only available in New Jersey, we are actively expanding it to reach other markets soon, the executive concluded.
