Whether you’ve been playing online Bingo for a while or you’re new to the virtual Bingo halls, you may have seen and heard some Bingo words and phrases used, that you may not fully understand.

Luckily, this article will explore just a handful of the many terms, words and phrases you may come across when heading online to play a game or two of Bingo. So, the next time you grab your virtual dauber, you’ll be ready for any Bingo lingo that comes your way.

Are you ready to take a quick flick through some of the online Bingo glossary terms? Scroll to continue.

Auto Daub

When playing online, you may have noticed a button or setting called auto daub. This setting allows the computer software within the game to take over the daubing process for you, so you never miss a number.

This is a great thing to switch on if you’re new to the game, as it helps you get an understanding and feel for a game, without also having to worry about hearing all the numbers being called out.

With this setting though, you’ll need to press the ‘CLAIM’ button yourself when you see a line, two lines or a full house being daubed on your Bingo card.

Bingo Deposit

This is the technical term for when you transfer money from your bank account to your online account. These funds will then be used to pay for your games.

Most online Bingo platforms allow players to transfer money using cards or money software, such as PayPal. It’s important to note, you should never transfer or wager more than you can afford to potentially lose.

Double Bingo

If you daub two lines, in a 75-ball game, that are either horizontal, vertical or diagonal, this is known as a double Bingo. Of course, you’ll need to daub the third and final line within that section before you can call “HOUSE!”, but a double Bingo is also worth a small prize if reached first.

Full House

If you or the auto daub has daubed away all the numbers within one section of your Bingo card, you can hit claim and call out to others that you have a full house!

If you were playing in a land-based Bingo Hall, you’d shout “HOUSE!”, but there’s nothing in the rules of online Bingo saying you can’t shout it when playing virtually too!

Jackpot

A jackpot is the highest amount you could win for that particular game. All games have various jackpots to the other, so it’s always worth looking to see what the top prize is for each game you decide to play.

Some online Bingo games have what is known as a fixedjackpot, which means the prize amount doesn’t change no matter how many players join the game. Other games have what is known as a progressive jackpot, which is essentially a jackpot that grows as more players join the game.

Now you know a little more about a handful of the terms, phrases and words used within online Bingo, will you be picking up your virtual dauber soon?
