Guests can also have their photos taken with some of the exotic birds too. Visits to the gardens are free. The habitat is open daily from 7 AM to 8 PM.
Have A Slice of Evel Pie
Daredevil fans can see the story of motorcycle stuntman Evel Knievel at Evel Pie. See a treasure trove of the stuntman’s memorabilia while you sip beer and feast on delicious and unusual pizza slices. In this East Fremont Street establishment, guests will see a retro pinball machine, photos stickers, and a hanging motorbike all from the world famous stuntman’s collection. The brave can sample some of the places more adventurous toppings including candied pork belly, man candy bacon, and rattlesnake sausage.
Learn The History of America’s Nuclear Weapons
Discover past and present lessons about geopolitics, worldwide nuclear deterrence at the National Atomic Testing Museum. The museum has over 12,000 unique artifacts that present the history of the nuclear bomb. A highlight at the museum is the Ground Zero Theatre simulation, where guests can experience a simulated atmospheric bomb blast. Self-guided tour tickets are available for the National Atomic Testing Museum online. The museum is open every day except Wednesday from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
Be Nostalgic at the Pinball Hall of Fame
Be a pinball wizard and relive a simpler, carefree time of youth at the Pinball Hall of Fame. The over 700 machines here date from the 1950s to the 1990s and represent a special niche in pop culture history. Guests can not only see vintage games from the ‘heyday of pinball’ from the 1960s to the 1980s, but they can also play the games! The is admission free and is open daily from 11 AM to 9 PM.
Explore The Mojave Desert
A quick drive will get you out of the mayhem of Vegas and get you to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. Get dazzled by the spectacular red sandstone formations while you take the loop of the 13 mile scenic drive. Guests can also spend time at the area rock climbing, horseback riding, camping and so much more. Entry into the conservation area for all activities is on a timed entry permit system only.
Get Spooked at Zak Bagans’ Haunted Museum
Visit a haunted house in downtown Vegas at Zak Bagan’s Haunted Museum. This unusual place located in the Arts District is host to spooky collectables, creepy hallways, and secret passageways. Special artifacts seen in the over 30 unique exhibit rooms include Jack Kevorkian’s Death Van, Lugosi’s Mirror, and The Devil’s Rocking Chair. On the Late Night Flashlight Ghost Tour Experience, guests can experience some after-hours ghost hunting. The haunted museum tickets and special tours can be purchased online prior to your visit.
Ride the World’s Biggest Observation Wheel
See the entire Las Vegas Strip and beyond on the High Roller. Enjoy the 360-degree stunning views from 550 feet above the Strip on this 30 minute ride. The wheel has the option of riding with an open bar where you can sip tasty cocktails while you absorb your spectacular surroundings. The High Roller is open daily from the afternoon until midnight.
