Lottery players from NSW have been urged to check their Powerball tickets with one mystery winner set to claim the $30million jackpot.

The winning numbers for the draw were 27, 33, 19, 29, 5, 12 and 15 with the Powerball number 4.

'Imagine going to bed tonight not knowing you've just won $30million? That's the reality for one New South Wales player after scoring division one in tonight's Powerball draw!,' The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart said.

Lottery players from NSW have been urged to check their Powerball tickets with one mystery winner set to claim $30million

The winning numbers for the draw were 27, 33, 19, 29, 5, 12 and 15 with the Powerball number 4

'While the New South Wales entry was purchased online, unfortunately, we don't have their complete contact details, so we are unable to make a mind-blowing phone call to them this evening.

'That is why we are encouraging everyone in New South Wales who purchased an entry in tonight's Powerball draw to check their entries because they may be the multi-millionaire we are searching for!'

On top of the $30million jackpot, another two division two winners took home $281,829 each while 73 division three champions received $4,718 each.

Mr Hart said officials at The Lott are excited to hear from the division one Powerball winner.

'While we are unable to confirm the win with tonight's winner, we can guarantee that when they discover the news, it's sure to be met with a hefty mix of shock and excitement!,' he said.

'In addition to seeing the massive $30 million prize land in their bank account, this player also takes out the title of Australia's second-biggest lottery winner of 2023 to date.'
