Nevada gaming venues posted $1.3 billion in gaming revenue for May. The Las Vegas Strip posted its highest-ever revenue of $731.5 million. Downtown Las Las Vegans posted a win of nearly $78.9 million, up more than 5%. Table, counter and card games win for the month was up 10% Y-o-Y to $430 million and slot machine win was at $870.1 million with a 7% win percentage. Online sportsbooks took in $397.6 million in bets, with revenue up by almost 24% to almost $16.4 million from May 2021.

Nevada's tourism industry is recovering after the financial crisis. Downtown Las Vegas saw a year-over-year increase in gaming revenue. North Las Vegans saw 5% Y-o-Y revenue drop to $25.4 million, Laughlin 3% down to $46.7 million. South Lake Tahoe saw its revenue fall 14% year on year to just $17.5 million for the month. Washoe County’s gaming revenues was 4.8% below May 2021 to$87.6 million and Reno's revenue declined by 4% to 4,5% to £62.9 million but first five months of 2022 have led to statewide gaming Revenue up 22. 6% over 2021.
