Formula 1 may not be heading to Las Vegas until this time next year, but the landmark Grand Prix is already getting major promotions, with the prices released for fans wanting to attend.

The prices have shocked fans, with them realising just how pricey a trip to Las Vegas will be for the Grand Prix. From tickets, hotels and flights, it won’t be a cheap weekend, with it costing even more than the Monaco Grand Prix to attend.

However, plenty of fans are excited for the new Grand Prix and even if watching from afar on the TV, it will be a spectacle that’s for sure.

Formula 1 heads to Las Vegas

Next season, the aim is to squeeze 24 races in throughout the course of the campaign, with six race weekends set to hold sprint races for qualifying, giving us more wheel-to-wheel racing than ever before.

To add to the excitement, the new Las Vegas circuit will be the penultimate race of the season in the middle of November – what a place to have your crowning moment as Formula 1 World Champion, The Entertainment Capital of the World.

Las Vegas’s Grand Prix will set fans back a minimum of $500 for just the cheapest ticket, not including accommodation or flights. The most expensive tickets for the Grand Prix are registering at an eye-watering $10,000.

Las Vegas Grand Prix promotions starting

Already, we’re seeing Formula 1 and the Las Vegas Grand Prix drum up interest around the inaugural race around the city’s famous landmarks.

Although the race is just over a year away, this weekend, the authorities are hosting a launch party for the Las Vegas Grand Prix, with Mercedes duo Lewis Hamilton and George Russell headlining the launch party, with the pair aiming to return to the city as the new Constructors’ champions in a year’s time.

On top of all this, Red Bull, the current Constructors’ champions, have had one of their cars racing through a casino in Las Vegas to help promote the race.

Red Bull are renowned for whacky stunts involving their past Formula 1 cars, and this is no different. Could you imagine sitting on the slot machines and looking over your shoulder and seeing a Red Bull charging past you?!

It probably won’t make the cut to feature on the official circuit, but it was still incredible to see a Formula 1 car in such an environment!
